What are the current home prices and real estate prices in Sedona Arizona?
Well here we go again. It looks like home prices are really starting to jump even just from a few months ago. The average listing price currently as of the publishing of this blog post is around $735,000 which is up $4300 over last year. The median sales price however is up $37,000 resting at about $355,000 year to date. We are seeing a dramatic increase even just over the last two months where as in April the average listing price was below $680,000 and now it’s well over the $700,000 mark. Uniquely at half the average price per square foot is down 3% your today and the number of sales is down as well nearly 13%. The sales price really is the number to watch so since it’s up 12% over last year at this time.
Over the last month 24 homes have been for sale with an average listing price of $1.2 million but 25 have sold in the last month for an average listing price of $418,000; it much more affordable for the first time home buyer.
Sedona, with great schools, low crime, and beautiful views, makes a great place to call home whether you’re a Snowbird, retiree, looking for a second home or investment property or are a first-time home buyer raising a family. Affordable homes are priced anywhere from $200,000 to easily over four $500,000. The styles and designs vary as well from desert adobes to bungalows and two-story new construction. There’s always something happening around the Sedona real estate market.
Most of the homes for sale are west of downtown just north of the highway yet provides easy access to the downtown area. Newer homes are listed between Foothills Dr and Kachima Dr with easy access to downtown Sedona, Red Rock State Park, and surrounding communities and neighborhoods.
