If you are new to Sedona and have not yet experienced the Christmas season here, you are in for a treat! There is nothing like Sedona during Christmas. You will quickly fall in love with all this beautiful town has to offer.  

Christmas Activities In Sedona 2019

Here are just a few of the holiday events happening in and around Sedona this year.  


 
December 3  
An Irish Christmas at the Sedona Performing Arts Center 
7:30 pm 
 
Enjoy a night of spectacular Irish Dancing and Singing of traditional Irish Christmas music and a few other well-known Christmas classics. Watch world champion and award-winning dancers such as Riverdance Principal Dancer Caterina Coyne and World Champion Dancer Tyler Schwartz. Joining these famed dancers are members of the Kerry Traditional Orchestra.  
 
December 5-14 7pm 
December 15 2pm 
Christmas Thieves Play at Sedona United Methodist Church 
 
Enjoy a play put on by the Emerson Theater Collaborative about a radio show host that is trying to put on a telethon performance to save his station and runs into some obstacles along the way.  
 
 
December 6  
Sedona Tree Lighting at Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village 
5-7 pm  
 
Enjoy a traditional Christmas event loved by people all over the world. Come and watch the lighting of the giant Christmas tree in Tlaquepaque Arts Village, we even heard Santa will be there! 
 
December 7 
Breakfast with Santa at the Hub at Posse Grounds Park  
8-10am 
 
!0th annual breakfast with Santa put on by Parks and Recreation. Doors open at 8 am with a free warm breakfast served until 9:45 am and pictures with Santa until 10am. Parents bring your camera for pictures.  
 
December 14 
Christmas in the Park 
11a-3pm 
Every year the Museum puts on Christmas in the park. Enjoy the traditional tumbleweed snowman, hot cider, cookies , vintage decorations, fire in the fireplace and make and take cornhusk doll activity. Stroll through the museum and enjoy story-telling and local authors signing books.  
 
 
 
December 14  
Festival of Lights/ Lighting of 6,000 Luminaries at Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village 
3-8 pm  
 
One of the most anticipated and loved of Sedona Christmas traditions. The Festival of Lights began 46 years ago. Come and listen to holiday music, watch live entertainment, and at 5pm the Tlaquepaque chapel bell will ring and 6,000 luminaries will begin to fill the night sky. In addition to the breathtaking lights, Santa and the River of Life Tabernacle Choir performance are very popular.  
 
December 19 
A Christmas Carol at the Chapel 
7pm and 8:15pm 
 
Two shows of the beloved Christmas classic with a unique twist on the songs.  
 
December 21 
Holiday Sweet Stroll at Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village 
3-7 pm 
 
Get all that last-minute holiday shopping in or just pick up a little treat for yourself while you stroll through the shops decorated in Christmas lights and enjoy the carolers dressed in Dickens-era costumes as they stroll through the grounds and sing classic favorites. Shops will be offering sweet treats and special give-a-ways as well as holiday deals.
